Samir Shaheen-Hussain is an assistant professor in the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University and works as a pediatric emergency physician in Tio’tia:ke (Montreal). Samir became involved in anti-authoritarian social-justice movements in 2002 while in medical school, and has been active in Indigenous solidarity, anti-police brutality, and migrant justice organizing over the years.
